YEAR 7 NEWS

HIGH FLYERS

Students have received feedback for their Term 2 High Flyer evidence and those successful, were presented with certificates at assembly today.  Both Term 3 and 4 are shorter programmes and we encourage all Year 7 students to have a go at demonstrating the personal qualities they are graduating with.

 Year 8 Transition

Term 4 is always an exciting time for Year 7 students and their parents as we celebrate the end of our students' primary schooling and begin their transition into high school.

Students planning to attend a government secondary school received their placement confirmation today in a letter directly from their school.  This letter will contain information regarding upcoming transition days and information sessions.  

If your child will be attending a non-government school next year, we would appreciate advance notification of the day your child will be absent for a transition visit.

Graduation

The Year 7 Graduation Ceremony will take place on Thursday, 3rd December. The ceremony acknowledges the students' time at the school and allows us the opportunity to formally farewell the 2015 Graduates. The formalities will take place in the school Gym with a student celebration to follow on that evening. More specific details will be sent home closer to the date.

End of School Excursion

Year 7 students will also be involved in a celebration day to be held at the SA Aquatics Centre at Marion on Thursday, 10th December. Parents are welcome to meet us there to join in the celebration of our students' successful primary school experience.
