A NEW SEMESTER

One of our approaches to teaching and learning with the students is to incorporate reflection  for the purpose of improvement. Sometimes this requires embracing change. Using this same principal, we are now sharing with the school community Semester newsletters in place of termly newsletters.The Semester newsletter outlines the curriculum learning to be covered throughout Terms 3 and 4 which will then be reported against in the Student Report to be sent home in December.

The semester ahead will provide many varied, fun and exciting learning experiences. The weekly school newsletter is the best way to keep yourself informed about dates of scheduled events. Students in Fisher also make use of their school diary for planning and communicating between school and home.

Punctuality and Attendance

We have some students regularly arriving at school well after the bell. 

It is vital that students arrive on time so they can organise themselves for lessons and in order for them to hear important information, which is most often shared at the very beginning of the day.

We would appreciate an email or diary note, in advance when possible, to notify us of any planned absence or late arrival or please email after the fact when unexpected.
