XANADU

XANADU fever is already hitting LHS this year! On Tuesday of Week 2, the Theatre foyer was packed with students eager to hear details of our upcoming production.

We were thrilled to see so many students attend and not just for acting roles, but a variety of off-stage positions such as lighting, make up and prop design.

That enthusiasm bubbled over into booking auditions, our lead audition slots filled in what seemed like a moment!

We are very much looking forward to seeing what students can bring in auditions.  We know they'll be some very tough decisions ahead of us.

Anyone who isn't successful in an on-stage audition, is still encouraged to be involved in the production in some other capacity.  It takes a whole team to make a show!

So brace yourself for a year of leg warmers, roller skates and sweet, sweet 80s pop!  Xanadu is coming to Lilydale in 2020!

Friday 14 August – Second Show Night – 7 pm

Saturday 15 August – Matinee – 1:30 pm
