Welcome to the start of the 2020 school year. We would like to welcome back all the students from last year and to all the new students and staff members.
We have an ‘OPEN DOOR’ policy in Junior School, so please feel free to pop in at any time and say hi!
Every Wednesday during Period 6, Year 7 students will participate in activities that aim to promote connectedness within the school community.
There are 6 focus themes to the program:
Thursday 5 March
Year 7 Immunisations
Monday 23 to Wednesday 25 March
Year 7 Camp 1
Wednesday 25 to Friday 27 March
Year 7 Camp 2
A reminder to parents and guardians, all students should have received their immunisation forms and Year 7 camp paperwork.
If you have not received either of the above forms, please speak to your Home Group teacher.
We look forward to receiving your completed forms by Friday 21 February.
If there is an achievement that happens in your child's life outside of school, please let us know, as we would like to acknowledge their success.
For example, sporting achievements, musical successes… anything!
Thank you to the parents who attended Launch into High School and the subsequent morning teas.
The new Year 7s were very attentive and engaged during the sessions that outlined student expectations at Lilydale High School.
We look forward to a year of collaborative, supportive and positive relationships with both students and families.
It is DEECD (Department of Education and Early Childhood Development) policy that all student absences are accounted for.
Please assist us to fulfil our legal obligations by parent approving absences on COMPASS or by calling the School Absence Line 9735 5644.
You are reminded that you can communicate with the sub school office by phone regarding absences. Also, the school should be contacted if it is expected that your child will be away for more than two days.
You can also use Compass to view your student’s past absences.
Parents and guardians who may have forgotten their Compass username and password, can contact Kerri Skewes and Kerrie O'Rourke in the Junior School Office.
To keep up to date with daily and weekly NEWS AND EVENTS at Lilydale High School, we encourage parents/guardians, students and the wider school community to LIKE and follow the Lilydale High School 'OFFICIAL' Facebook page.
