Year 7 Japanese

Obentoo Lesson

Earlier this term, our Year 7 Cultural Studies Rotation 1 class had an enjoyable Obentoo lesson.  Obentoo is a specific style of Japanese lunch box and our students were so creative in their designs!

At first, they designed and drew a picture of it and, after learning how to make Sushi roll, they made amazing lunch boxes such as Totoro, fish in the ocean and animals. They used variety of shaped food including octopus shaped sausage, flower shaped carrot and mixed sesame rice for Totoro. They were too adorable to eat.
