Monday 21st March 

Harmony Day: Students are encouraged to wear their cultural dress or orange clothing.

Parents and carers who are double vaccinated are welcome to attend our Whole School Assembly and Cultural Dress Parade.

Tuesday 22nd March

Kaboom - Whole School Event: Students are encouraged to wear their House colours on this day. Parents and carers who are double vaccinated are welcome to attend the Kaboom Incursion from 9:00am-11:00am. 

Wednesday 23rd March

Dear Families,

We are excited to have Teeth on Wheels Visiting our school for dental visits starting on the 23/03/2022. Below is a link to their E-form which needs to be completed ASAP for your child to participate. 

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND NO PAPER FORMS WILL BE GOING OUT FOR 2022.

Teeth on Wheels are focused on providing a positive dental experience and specialise with working with children. They can provide check-up and clean appointments and more onsite and will be able to advise you if your child is eligible to received dental care for FREE under the Child Dental Benefit Schedule. Complete your form today and the Teeth on Wheels team will be in contact to schedule your child’s appointment.

Tuesday 5th of April

Mackellar Primary School students will be involved in an early ANZAC Day service dedicated to the memory of Australians who have served and died in war. 

Time:              3:00 pm – 3:30pm

Where:           Mackellar Basketball court

Who:               Prep   - Year 6

Parents, carers and their families are welcome to attend on-site provided they are double vaccinated and show proof of their vaccination status.

Wednesday 6th of April

The students at Mackellar Primary School will be participating in our first fundraiser for 2022 held by our Student Leaders.

The students will be raising money for The Good Friday Appeal. We invite all students to donate a gold coin and in return wear casual clothes on Wednesday the 6th of April.

Lost Property

Please ensure that all children's belongings are clearly labelled with their name (not just initials) and grade. Sometimes items are not returned to their rightful owner because they are not labelled correctly or clearly. If you find named belongings in your child's possession, could you please return them to your child's classroom. Our lost property is stored outside the office (white bin). 

Student Absences 

Absent all day?   

Parents can enter absences directly into Xuno by 9:05am (this can also be done in advance) OR phone the school office on 9364 0200

Arriving late? 

When you arrive at school, the student must be signed IN at the school office prior to going to class. 

Leaving early?

Parent/Carer must sign the student OUTat the school office prior to picking them up.
