Harmony Day 2022
Harmony Week at Mackellar Primary School
The continuing message of Harmony Day is ‘Everyone Belongs’ and its annual observance aims to encourage inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of anyones cultural background.
We started the day off with an extended Whole School Assembly and a Harmony Day Parade. Students went back into their classroom and discussed the importance of Harmony Day/Week and participated in cultural discussions and activities. The students will continue to celebrate Harmony Week in their classrooms over the next five days, so please continue to discuss the importance of this week with your children.
We hope you enjoy viewing the photos from todays festivities.
