Years Three/Four News 

History come to life!

Last week the 3/4 students were visited by Cynda and Barry from the History Box in order to support our learning about Anzac Day. We learnt about the horrible conditions the ANZACS endured during the Gallipoli campaign and their acts of bravery. We also learned about the animals that helped our troops including horses and even cats. During a series of hands-on activities students looked at artefacts and tried on uniforms, wrote using a nib and ink, played games from the trenches and even made our own medals. It was an interesting and informative session that allowed us to experience history in a unique way.
