Principal's Report

Term 2 Reports

Assessment & reporting requirements for staff and students have been brought forward in term two, with the impending completion of stage 1 of our capital works project.

The final two weeks of this term will be consumed in preparing for the relocation of much of the existing site.

With that in mind, we have brought forward student assessments and reporting timelines. Reports will be sent home on Thursday 10 June (week 8).

We are committed, during the final two weeks of term, to a continued and focused curriculum delivery, despite the known distractions we'll undoubtedly face during this time.  It is critical, students remain engaged and focused on learning, and we are committed to implementing this throughout the term.

Help Wanted - repeat

Unfortunately, I have only received one offer of help thus far.  I'd love to hear from anyone able to assist any project listed below.  It will take a team and I will coordinate what we can achieve.

Below is a repeat of what I requested last week.

With the impending school expansion concluding, there are a number of forthcoming jobs we'd love to have your support with.  If you're able to assist me in making any of the following to occur, please respond via phone (5334 6328) or email (dale.power@education.vic.gov.au)

*Bike shed construction - to add an additional bike shed to our existing (equipment and expertise sought / materials supplied)

*Oval top dress - spread existing clean fill, add top soil and disperse existing rocks to form a retaining wall (equipment essential / materials supplied)

*General tidy up / moving cull of equipment etc

Parent information session - Capital Works Project

Please join me next Thursday 6 May at 9am, for an information session for parents.  I have information regarding the build to share, as well as being keen to hear from parents regarding what they're looking forward to or anxious about.

I will be able to assist us all in readiness for this exciting transition to an expanded school.

Note: a second session will be offered on Thursday 13 May at 5:00pm, for those unable to make the first session.

I acknowledge the First Peoples of the Wathaurong, who are the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which I work and live, and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
