Year 8 sport
On Wednesday, March 1 we had our first interschool sports day. We had 3 year 8 volleyball teams competing for the pennants. Our girls team put up a valient effort and came 4th overall. Our 2 boys teams both came second in their respective pools and got to play off in the bronze medal match. Was a very close game. Congratulations to all our teams who competed.
Senior Sport
On March 6 we had our senior volleyball competition which involved 2 pools for both senior boys and girl’s teams. For the boys Poole our A team finished 4th overall with our B team finishing 2nd overall. For our girls our A team finished 3rd with our B team finishing 1st overall and making it through to the next stage. All teams did exceptionally well and put up a good fight in all the rounds. Our boys A team lost in the grand final by one point and created a good competition and a good competitive atmosphere. We are excited to see how our girls B team do and wish them all the best in the next round.
Casey South Division Swimming Carnival.
On Thursday, March 9, 15 students competed in the Casey South Division swimming competition.
Our students put in an amazing effort coming 5th overall.
