IWD Event at Carrum Downs Secondary College.

Cranbourne Secondary College SRC leaders and Assistant Principal Michelle Lynch had the pleasure of attending an International Women’s Day special event at Carrum Downs Secondary College. Our students met Deputy Premier, Jacinta Allan the Minister for infrastructure and major projects, our local member Pauline Richards MP and the member for Carrum Sonya Kilkenny MP. The students discussed issues relating to challenges women face in different industries with our politicians and came away from the event inspired to continue to champion equity for all at our College.

Junior  Playground  Project

Our Year 7 and 8 class captain team met to decide on the furniture for the outdoor active area in the junior school. We want students to be creative, critical thinkers. We want them to rewrite the rules as life-long learners and critical-thinking citizens. It’s a mindset of self-direction and student ownership and it begins by empowering students with voice and choice.
