Careers in Agriculture Day at RIST 

On Monday a group of Year 9 students actively engaged in hands-on activities to gain a greater understanding of some of the many facets of Agriculture.

The photos clearly show the student involvement and interest in this very worthwhile day.

Photo 1 Tractor simulator.

This enabled students to learn how to drive the tractor and gain an awareness of the numerous functions that tractors are capable of performing.

Students did some soil testing then looked at the results and how to interpret them and how they would be utilised.
