The Come and Try Days are a fantastic opportunity for children to experience athletics in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment.
When: Weekend of 20-21 September
Time: 10.00am - 12.00pm
Where: Domain Athletics Centre
Registrations are now open and will close on Saturday 20 September.
Nature. Be In It have released their school holiday program.
The program gives children will have the chance to connect with nature, learn fire-by-friction skills, and explore the outdoors in a fun and hands-on way.
It’s a great opportunity for them to build confidence, creativity, and resilience while making new friends.

Collegiate Pool Fun Swim Meet - 19 September 2025
Is your swimmer wanting to give racing a go?
We are excited to invite our Learn to Swim families and the wider community to the Collegiate Pool Fun Swim Meet
When: Friday 19 September 2025
Time: Welcome from 5:00pm, racing from 5:30pm
Where: Collegiate Pool
Who can enter? Swimmers who can comfortably swim 25 metres
Registration: Entries close Wednesday 10 September 2025 (Places are limited, so early registration is encouraged)
This FUN SWIM™ event is designed especially for developing swimmers who are ready to try racing. Whether it’s their very first race or a chance to practise racing skills, the evening will be relaxed, supportive, and focused on fun.
Swimmers will have the opportunity to:
- Experience racing in a friendly environment
- Learn important race-ready skills (like starts and finishes)
- Build confidence in the water
- See what competitive swimming is all about
Upon arrival, all swimmers will receive an athlete pack and will be guided through what to expect at swim meets. This is a fantastic chance to try racing for the first time in a welcoming environment.
Hobart Gang Show 2025
Youth members from Scouts and Guides of Hobart and surrounding areas are looking forward to taking you on a fun filled journey for their annual production.
JUST IN TIME is an original script written by Hobart Gang Show youth, performing at Hobart College, Mt. Nelson Theatre.
