Sign the Petition: Wingrove St Crossing Safety

School Council have been discussing the importance of improving the road safety measures between our two campuses. Students and staff cross Wingrove St multiple times a day, and we believe that enhancements need to be made to create a safer crossing.

We encourage families to sign the petition as we work towards improving the safety of our school and surrounding areas.

Farewell Michael – FPS Crossing Supervisor

 Our crossing supervisor, Michael, will be finishing up at the end of this term. Michael has been an ever‑reliable and dedicated presence at the Wingrove Street crossing. Morning and afternoons, through the heat, wind, and rain, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to have Michael’s steady commitment to helping students, families, and staff cross the road safely.

If you would like to say thank you and goodbye, there’s an online card that staff and families are invited to sign.

School Crossing Supervisor of the Year

Darebin City Council is reaching out on behalf of School Crossings Victoria, for nominations for the School Crossing Supervisor of the Year (2025–2026).

This award provides an opportunity for schools and communities to recognise the outstanding commitment and dedication of School Crossing Supervisors, who play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing safety of children, families, and staff at school crossings every day.
