Artemis II is NASA’s first crewed mission under the Artemis program and will launch from the agency’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida. It will send NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen on an approximately 10-day journey around the Moon.

The Perth Artemis II Launch live stream Watch Party is an opportunity for the community to come together for a major moment in space exploration. This free, family-friendly event will be held from 6.00am to 9.00am, with a targeted launch time of 6.24am.

The United States and Australia have worked together in space exploration for more than half a century and are partners in NASA’s Artemis program. Australia is essential to tracking, communications, and mission assurance for Artemis II, and is building capabilities that will play an even larger role in Artemis III and beyond.
