School Wide Positive Behaviour Support at Brookside College

Our SWPBS shop was a huge success last term! It was wonderful to see so many students proudly spending their Brookside Bucks and celebrating their positive choices. The excitement and enthusiasm around the shop really highlighted how engaged our students are with the SWPBS program.

This term brings something new and exciting for our Prep students as they begin their Spatial Motor Program (SMP) which is a great opportunity to demonstrate our college values in a new setting. For the first time, our youngest learners and their grade 6 buddies are being grouped by House Colours and are already involved in earning house points during their weekly sessions. It has been fantastic to see their enthusiasm building their sense of belonging as they take part.

Our whole school House competition is well underway, with every 4R Superstar award contributing 1 point towards the House totals. It’s been great to see students across all year levels demonstrating our school values and working together to earn points for their House.
