Notices to Parents

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Families who have kindly donated to our Feed Hungry Tummies charity drive so far. Your kindness is truly appreciated. We know that budgets are tight, which makes your willingness to give even more meaningful. The SRC is incredibly grateful for every donation receivedso far. Together with Second Bite, we will be supporting families who are doing it tough. Groceries are accepted until Wednesday, 18 June 2026, so if you would still like to contribute, there is time to donate.
Below is a photograph of just one day’s collection. If we continue to do this every day, we will be able to fill a small car.
Thank you again for your generosity, and together we can put KINDNESS on a plate!
Lost and Found
A reminder to all families that our Lost and Found is located outside the Assistant Principal offices, next to the library, in the two large yellow bins. Despite being emptied and sorted weekly, the bins continue to fill up and often overflow with unclaimed items. While we do our best to return belongings to students, many items are either unnamed or have names that are not clearly legible. To help us return items to their rightful owners, we kindly ask parents and guardians to ensure that all belongings brought to school (including uniforms, drink bottles, lunch boxes, and toys) are clearly labelled with the student’s first and last name, as well as their class where possible.
We also strongly encourage families to regularly check the Lost and Found throughout the term, rather than waiting until the end of term, as many valuable and frequently used items are currently sitting unclaimed in the bins. There are a large number of drink bottles, toys, and uniform items waiting to be collected, and regular checks can help reunite students with their belongings much sooner.
Please Do Not Park In The Staff Car Parks
For the safety and wellbeing of all students, families and staff, we kindly remind parents and carers that the staff car parks are out of bounds to both pedestrians and private vehicles at all times. This includes all programs operating before and after school hours.
To support a safe environment for everyone, please use the designated pathways and pedestrian access points when entering and leaving the school grounds.
Spare Clothes - Please Pack in School Bags
As the weather becomes cooler and wetter, students are more likely to find puddles and muddy areas during outdoor play.
To help keep children comfortable and ready for learning, we kindly ask that all students keep a spare change of clothes in their school bag.
A spare set of clothes may include underwear, socks, pants/shorts and a top, so students can quickly change if needed.
Bathroom Use on School Grounds
To support a safe and respectful environment for all students, we kindly remind parents, carers and younger siblings to follow signage around the school regarding bathroom use.
Student toilets are for student use only. Parents and non-school-aged children are asked not to access student bathroom facilities at any time. If assistance is required, please contact the Administration Office.
These expectations support the Department of Education’s Child Safe Standards and our commitment to student wellbeing, privacy and safety.
Use of School Grounds Before and After School
To help maintain a safe and child-safe environment, families are reminded that school grounds are supervised and open to students from 8:45am to 3:45pm each day.
Outside of these hours, students should only be on school grounds when participating in an approved and supervised school program or event.
We also ask families to respect designated program areas operating before and after school and avoid these spaces unless directly involved in the activity.
We thank our school community for their support in helping maintain a safe, calm and respectful environment for all students.
