Italian

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part in our Italian Day celebration and helped make it a day full of learning, fun, and cultural appreciation. This much-loved event is always eagerly anticipated, and once again this year we enjoyed the hands-on pasta-making experience and a lively Tarantella dance session led by our talented Miss Gregory.
We were also delighted to welcome the visiting band from Italy, Calabria sona, who treated us to a wonderful showcase of traditional Italian dance, along with some beautiful Calabrian instruments. We welcomed Andrew who shared his knowledge and passion for his Ducati motorbike.
It was truly special to see the children so engaged—making pasta from scratch, creating Michelangelo-inspired art, dancing with tambourines to Italian folk music, and showing off their soccer skills. We thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Spectacular spettacolo show in the afternoon.
A big ‘Grazie mille’ to:
- Monica, for her support and encouragement in helping us continue our Italian Day tradition.
- Our incredible students, whose creativity, colourful costumes, and enthusiastic participation brought Italian culture to life.
- Our dedicated staff and parents, who generously gave their time to assist with pasta making, art, soccer, and dance activities. Your efforts made the day memorable.
- Italico for their generous gift vouchers.
- Mubble Sorrento for their generous donation of all our gelato cups!
- Christos, Matt and Michael at Sicluna’s, for their generous donations and support.
Alla prossima!
