Principal's Page

Dear Families,
Late last term students, families and staff completed the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools School Improvement Surveys. We use the data to evaluate present programs and plan for new initiatives to improve our school. We achieved extremely positive results with most scores being above the MACS school average.
Our student data showed marked increases in the overall positive endorsement of school, rigorous expectations, school climate, school belonging, student safety, student voice and student - teacher relationships. We did see marked improvement in student engagement but we will continue to focus on this.
In the family data we saw increases in overall school positive endorsement, family engagement, barriers to engagement and Catholic identity. We will continue to focus on and improve our family engagement score.
In the staff data the overall positive endorsement for the school was similar to last year and remained high. Student safety showed a marked improvemnet , with staff - leadership relationships, psychological safety, professional learning, collaboration in teams and support for teams were extremely high. We will continue to focus on the amount and quality of feedback staff receive about their roles.
