Performing Arts Highlights!

Year Prep 

The Prep Community has started the year with being introduced to Performing Arts through Drama, Dance, and Music. Students have enjoyed getting-to-know-you activities that help them feel comfortable and confident, including singing together and using body percussion to learn a welcoming song. Through fun movement, dance, and drama activities, students are beginning to understand how to care for themselves, each other, and the shared learning space. 

Year 1/2

The Year 1/2 Community has begun the year by revisiting the Performing Arts subjects of Dance, Music, and Drama. Students have enjoyed learning a welcoming song that includes singing, using body percussion, keeping the beat, and working with a partner to create and share movement. They have also created posters and performed freeze frames to demonstrate their understanding of care values, showing how they care for themselves, others, their learning, and the Performing Arts space. 

Choir

The Choir will be presenting their first song for 2026 on Harmony Day. Students will be singing 'Absolutely Everybody' by Vanessa Amorosi at the full school assembly on the 20th of March at 2:30pm. We hope to see you there!
