Minister's visit

A very exciting day today as we hosted the Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Victoria, Mr Ben Carroll. Other guests included local members Ms Kathleen Matthews-Ward, and Mr Anthony Cianflone, and representatives from the VSBA and DET regional office.

Mr Carroll was enthusiastic about the new build and very interested to hear from our students about the progress of JFC. The significance of visits such as this cannot be understated and confirms how much confidence the government has in our school and the whole community.

Thank you to Meliha Mitric and Shayan Ahmad who represented the student body and spoke very clearly and intelligently about our school. Thank you to the VM year 12 students and Ms Paizes who explained the VM program to the Minister. Thank you to other staff and students who dropped by to introduce themselves and meet the minister.
