Making a Difference in Our Community!
Our Year 12 VM students have been busy getting involved, giving back and making a difference through a range of meaningful Community Projects!
Breakfast Club – supporting our school community and helping address food insecurity.
Lalor Neighbourhood House – Food Relief – volunteering their time to support local families experiencing food insecurity.
Off Your Back – Coat Drive – collecting warm clothing to support people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.
SCLMS Interior Car Cleaning – working together to raise funds for Lifeline Australia, supporting the important work of promoting mental health and wellbeing.
Through these experiences, our students have explored real-world issues including food insecurity, homelessness, mental health and wellbeing, while developing empathy, teamwork, communication, leadership and a strong sense of community responsibility.
We are incredibly proud of the way our students have stepped up, worked together and used their time and skills to support others.
