As we come towards the end of another busy term, it is wonderful to reflect on the many achievements and experiences of our Celebrating a Busy and Successful Term

As we come towards the end of another busy term, it is wonderful to reflect on the many achievements and experiences of our Year 9 and Year 10 students. Both year levels have been involved in a range of learning, extracurricular activities and opportunities that have supported students to grow academically, socially and personally.

Year 9 – Learning Beyond the Classroom

Our Year 9 students have embraced many extracurricular activities and experiences throughout the term. These opportunities have allowed students to develop new skills, build friendships and create positive memories outside the classroom.

A particular highlight was the Year 9 Camp to Tasmania. Students and teachers had a fantastic time exploring Tasmania, participating in activities and spending time together. It was wonderful to see students challenge themselves, work together and enjoy the experience. A big thank you to the staff who supported the camp and helped make it such a memorable experience for our students.

Year 10 – Building Towards the Future

Our Year 10 students have also participated in a range of extracurricular activities and learning experiences this term. These opportunities have helped students develop independence, confidence and the skills they will need as they move towards their future pathways.

With Year 11 not too far away, students should continue to think carefully about their strengths, interests and goals. Whether students are considering Vocational Major (VM) or VCE, the choices they make now can help shape their future opportunities.

We encourage all Year 10 students to continue developing positive learning habits, asking questions and seeking support when needed.

CATS and Preparing for Success

Both Year 9 and Year 10 students are currently completing CATS across their subjects. This is an important time for students to demonstrate what they have learned and to show their teachers the progress they have made.

Students are encouraged to:

• Attend every lesson and be ready to learn.
• Complete all classwork and homework.
• Revise regularly for upcoming CATS.
• Ask teachers for help when they need it.
• Use feedback to improve their learning.
• Take pride in their work and effort.

Remember: Be the best version of yourself in your learning. Your effort, organisation and attitude can make a real difference to your success.
