Leos' Club Free Dress Day

Healesville High School’s Cartoon Dress-Up Day and Bake Sale a huge success!

On Monday, 24th March, Healesville High School came alive with colour, creativity, and delicious treats as the Leo Club hosted a fantastic Cartoon Dress-Up Day and Bake Sale during lunchtime. Students and staff embraced the fun, dressing as their favourite cartoon characters, making for a spectacular parade of costumes.

A special thank you goes to our esteemed judges, Mr. Fritzlaff, Nikita, and Mr. Kennedy, who had the challenging task of selecting winners from the impressive and well-crafted costumes. Congratulations to the following winners:

· Best Dressed: James Adams as Stormtrooper

· Best Look-a-likes: Kailee Short as Eric Cartmen and Lucas Hanmer as Bendy

· Best Group: Laura Henderson, Kaitlyn Harrison, and Lily Hills as characters from Regular Show

Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, the VCE ensemble delivered an outstanding musical performance that kept the energy high throughout lunchtime. Their talent and enthusiasm were truly appreciated by all who attended, enjoying the toe-tapping tunes provided by the band.

The bake sale was another highlight of the event, with a delicious selection of homemade treats flying off the tables. Thanks to the generosity of our school community, the fundraiser was a great success, raising around $400 for the Monash Children's Hospital Mural Project.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, dressed up, baked, performed, and helped organise this wonderful event. Your contributions made Cartoon Dress-Up Day a fantastic experience for all. We look forward to more fun-filled events in the future!
