Try a VET excursion

As students enter their senior school years, they have the opportunity to undertake a VET course. Ranges Tech in Lilydale is always a popular choice with students, offering VET courses in Engineering, Electrotechnology, Furniture Making, Cookery and Horticulture. Year 9 students considering these courses as a part of their upcoming 2026 subject selection visited Ranges Tech and participated in a number of hands-on sessions. These included making a pizza in Cookery, a dog tag in Engineering, a pencil box in Furniture Making and a Native Violet Kokedama in Horticulture. The students had an amazing time and have come away with a number of exciting options to consider. 

Ranges Tech is hosting a VET taster evening on 13th of August for any other Year 9 or 10 students who would like to learn more about their courses.
