GRADE 5/6 on Camp

Grade 5/6 Huon and Sassafras went on camp to Spring Beach in Orford. We participated in a number of activities including: archery, catapults, commando course, low ropes course, indoor rock climbing, crate stacking and ziplining.

Here are some of our favourite activities and memories from camp which sum up our camp experience perfectly!

Levi	My favourite activity that I did on camp was the zipline. The zipline was my favourite activity because my mum was there and she got to take a picture of me on it. Chase	My favourite activity on camp was going on the flying fox and helping to set it up.	How scared I was from the crate stacking because of how high I was.
Xavier	My favourite activity on camp was the commando course.	I loved John’s cookies as they were yummy.
Jett	My favourite thing on camp was the flying fox because it was scary and fun at the same time.	My favourite memory on camp was being in a cabin with Braxton. He had to go to the toilet but ran out to the basketball court and got scared so ran back.
Kyle	My favourite activity on camp was the ziplining because the beautiful view was breathtaking and once in a lifetime.	My favourite memory was when we had our own cabin and beds.
Mason	My favourite activity on camp was the zipline.	My favourite memory from camp was when it was night and me and my friends would stay up and talk.

Tommie	My favourite activity at camp was ziplining.	My favourite memory was ziplining over the dam.
Ray	Flying fox because it was my first time going on a real one.	John's cookies and also being in a cabin with my friends.
Louis	The zipline because you were up so high and you had to jump off the platform.	Finally making it to the top of the crate stacking.
Thomas J	The big zipline because you could go upside down and it was thrilling.	Being in a cabin with my friends and the crate stacking.
Ava	My favourite activity on camp was crate stacking - not because I enjoyed climbing the crates, but because I enjoyed watching my friends do it.	My favourite memory on camp was when our activity group took photos behind trees and on a log that moved side to side.
Pavneet	The most sensational and breathtaking part of camp was when we went ziplining. I was scared at the start but it's the most spectacular and breathtaking experience!	My favourite memory was when we sat around the campfire roasting marshmallows on sticks that we got from around the campfire. Sadly, I dropped mine but I got more😂! I just want to say CAMP WAS THE BEST!!!
Estelle	My favourite activity at camp was the ziplining.	My favourite memory from camp was hanging out with my friends and doing fun activities with them.
Rebecka	My favourite activity on camp was the flying fox.	My favourite memory was that I spent more time with my friends and my group.
Dominik	Dinner because there was amazing food, especially the chicken burgers. I got sad because they ran out of pineapple.	Bedtime because it was hilarious. It was fun only because we made heaps and heaps of jokes and I almost died laughing.
Diya	My favourite memory was going on the flying fox because it was over a lake.	My favourite memory was the indoor games which included team work.
Molly	My favourite activity on the camp was going on the giant zipline that stretched so far across a lake. You could go upside down, and it was so fun and fast.	My favourite memory from the camp was realising that all of my friends that came were in the same cabin as me. My friends were also excited knowing that I was going to be in their cabin too.
Laycee	My favourite activities were climbing on crates and having a campfire.	My favourite memory was playing games in the lounge. I loved John's cooking.
Arsh	My favourite activity was the flying fox as it was an adventure.	My favourite memory was playing games with the teachers.
Ruby	My favourite activity on camp was doing the zipline because it was fun and I enjoyed it.	My favourite memory on camp was messing around with my friends.
Theo	I liked the rock climbing because we had a challenge.	I was making jokes and laughing so hard that I hit my head on the bed.
Ned	My favourite activity was the zipline due to the fact that you could go upside down and make your head spin for like ten seconds.	My favourite memory was when I was in the cabin with my mates and Oliver accidentally made me spill all my noodles all on the floor. I wanted to eat them.
Sharvesh	My favourite activity on camp was the flying fox as I felt like an eagle soaring through the trees. I also loved it due to the fact I went upside down and I was so dizzy!!	My favourite memory from camp was watching my friends climb up the rock climbing wall and slip, well I shouldn’t say that because when it was my turn to climb up the thing, I may or may have not slipped all the way down as if I ran on a banana peel.
Kasen	My favourite activity was ziplining.	My favourite memory was eating John’s cookies.
Aavnish	My favourite activity was the big flying fox because the man pushed me so I would go on it and not hold up the line.	My favourite memory was when my cabin group played murder in the dark and also John’s cookies.
Rubi	My favourite activity on camp was playing with my best friends in our cabin.	My favourite memory from camp is staying up late outside in the dark telling spooky stories to the whole camp and looking at stars.
Flynn	My favourite activity at camp was rock climbing because it was a challenge.	My favourite memory was eating John's cookies because they were DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Charli	My favourite activity was crate stacking because I got to go really high and everyone was cheering for me.	When we were all in our cabins and we made a candy salad that was bussin’.
Braxton	My favourite activity was the zipline because it was fun.	My favourite memory was using the ping-pong and pool tables with my friends.
Brock	My favourite activity on camp was the flying fox because it was very exciting.	My favourite memory on camp was playing pool with Louis.
Hollie	My favourite activity was crate stacking because I got to the top.	My favourite memory was when we were in our cabins hanging out.
Amber	My favourite activity on camp was the flying fox because I really liked going upside down on it.	My favourite camp memory is hanging out with Nash, Layla and my other friends.
Ruby	My favourite activities were the flying fox and the low ropes.	I Iiked sleeping in cabin 3 with Katrina, Laycee, Molly and Rubi. I also liked going in the funny car with no windows with Claire.
Beau	My favourite activity at camp was archery because it was fun and a new experience.	My favourite camp memory is having fun with friends and telling jokes with them.
Lily	The zipline because I went upside down.	My favourite memory was when I fell off my bed because it was funny.
Maddie	My favourite activity at camp was rock climbing because I got to the top of the rock wall.	My favourite memory from camp is archery because I got close to the bullseye for the first time.
Layla H	My favourite activity was the zipline because it was out of my comfort zone and everyone was cheering me on.	My favourite memory was overcoming my fear during crate stacking.
Aiden	My favourite activity at camp was going on the flying fox because it was the best thing I have done in the world.	My favourite memory from camp was scaring Kyle by telling him scary stories.
Davi	One of my favourite activities at camp was the Commando Course because I discovered how to do the weird rope thing in the end. My second favourite activity at camp was indoor rock climbing because after I finished each climb, I did my Spider-Man fall.	My favourite memory from camp was scaring Kyle on the first night. It was so funny that I was not scared in the end. My other favourite memory was the first night’s dinner because John’s cooking is just amazing.
Tayah	The flying fox because I thought it was really fun going upside down.	Playing basketball with everyone.
Amayah	The flying fox was my favourite activity because it was high and I went upside down. It was really fun and I enjoyed it.	My favourite memory was sharing a cabin with my friends and staying up with them all night and eating lollies. It was the best. We laughed a lot and joked around.
Katrina	My favourite activity was doing the flying fox over the dam.	My favourite memory is Ruby eating lollies in bed.
Millie	The crate stacking was my favourite because I could fly in the air.	My favourite memory is gathering the boys and girls and playing basketball full court with Mr. Pritchard.
Nora	My favourite activity was the crate stacking because I liked going up in the air.	My favourite memory was toasting marshmallows on the campfire and watching them burn.
Cleo	I liked the crate stacking because it was fun.	My favourite memory was when everyone joined in a massive basketball game.
Oliver	My favourite activity at camp was the zipline because it was fun.	My favourite memory was when Ned fell off the top bunk.
Adnan	My favourite activity was the commando course because it was fun racing together and solo while helping and rushing to finish at the same time. Then it has got to be the zipline because I was the only one to go upside down in my group (except Amber). It felt amazing to be alive; it was the best 5 seconds of my life.	One of my favourite memories was staying up and scaring Kyle with fake stories about a little girl outside and the usual.
Archer	My favourite activity at camp was rock climbing.	My favourite memory from camp was when I went on the zipline.
Nash	My favourite activity was crate stacking because it got me out of my comfort zone.	My favourite memory at camp was when everyone came out of their rooms and played boys vs girls basketball game.
Jayden	My favourite activity on camp was the zipline because it was fun to go upside down and also cool since there was a dam underneath. Some people caught me at the end so I wasn't stuck on the zipline.	My favourite memory from camp was when Ned fell off the bunk bed when Oliver turned his flashlight off.
Jaxson	My favourite activity was the zipline because of how fast it went.	My favourite memory was staying up late with friends.
