Open Day 2026
Two weeks ago, the College hosted a wonderful Open Day two weeks with a large number of visitors in both the morning and afternoon sessions. It is a day when we proudly show how our College operates on a normal day with tours led by students from different year groups. We received positive feedback about the classes observed and glowing reports about our friendly and knowledgeable student tour guides. Thank you to our staff and students who assisted and contributed towards this successful event by living out our College motto ‘Prepared for All Good Works’.
We would greatly appreciate your feedback on your experience at our Open Day. Your insights will help us improve future Open Day events. Click the link below to complete the Open Day Parent Evaluation 2026.
Year 7 and New Parent Evening
At St Norbert College we welcome every opportunity for teachers and parents to support each other in the education of our children. This year, we provide an opportunity through the Year 7 Parent and New Parent Evening. We require the attendance of at least one parent who has a child enrolled in Year 7, even if they have attended previous evenings for their older children.
The Year 7 Parent and New Parent Evening will be held on Monday 23 March 2026 commencing at 6.00 pm in Gennep, the new building near the O'Reilly Centre (College gym). Please allow sufficient time to collect materials, mingle and have some refreshments before the commencement time.
The evening will provide time for parents and carers to meet their child’s Head of House and Homeroom Teacher. They will be able to answer any questions. The evening is designed to be interactive with some updated information and will conclude by 7.30 pm. This event is for parents and carers only – students are not required to attend.
Prior to the evening, we ask that parents and carers complete the Parent Survey via the link below.
A letter was sent out to Year 7 and New Parents, please complete the Parent Reply slip (fillable) or return the paper slip to the Homeroom Teacher by Friday 20 March 2026.
We look forward to meeting with you.
NAPLAN Online 2026
This week, students in Years 7 and 9 commenced NAPLAN (National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy). The testing continues next week with the Numeracy Assessment scheduled on Monday 16 March 2026.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, so catch-up sessions are arranged during the NAPLAN assessment window to ensure that all students have the opportunity to complete the assessments.
A reminder that students in Years 7 and 9 will require plug-in headphones for some of the NAPLAN Online assessments.
A brochure for parents and carers is available via the link below. Students also received a brochure earlier in the term.
Further details regarding the NAPLAN Online at St Norbert College will be made available to students in the coming weeks and further information about the NAPLAN testing can be found via the link below.

Bstreetsmart – Year 11 Students
On Wednesday 1 April, all Year 11 students will be taken to RAC Arena where the Royal Automobile Club of Western Australia (RAC) will host the RAC bstreetsmart event. The RAC bstreetsmart features a crash scene re-enactment attended by the emergency services, just as it would occur at a real crash site, and students have the opportunity to listen to speakers who have been directly impacted by road trauma. There will also be presentations from emergency services personnel and a link to the program is provided below.
Parents and/or Carers of Year 11 students should have received an email notification for the RAC bstreetsmart event via Consent2go.
