Celebrating Science Week at Grayling PS!

It was Science Week at Grayling PS last week, and we had an exciting range of activities to celebrate science, curiosity and creativity across the school!

Prep students explored science through simple, fun and hands-on experiments in their classrooms, developing their curiosity and wonder about the world around them.

Our Grade 6 students demonstrated a wonderful sense of community by planning and conducting a series of engaging science experiments in the STEM rooms during lunchtime. It was fantastic to see them sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for science with others.

One of the highlights was our Grade 3 and 4 Board Game Night, where parents and carers came along to celebrate their children's creativity, problem-solving and design skills. It was wonderful to see families getting involved and celebrating the students' achievements together. 

We also held an exciting Science Quiz Competition for Grades 5 and 6. Students demonstrated their scientific knowledge and understanding in a closely contested competition. 6B took out the interclass quiz with an impressive score of over 90% while 5D won Grade 5 Quiz!
