Literacy – Information Reports

In Literacy, students are learning to write well-structured information reports that teach readers factual information about a historical topic. They are developing their ability to gather information from several sources and record important notes using keywords. Students are learning to organise their ideas using headings and subheadings, and to use accurate historical vocabulary when communicating their knowledge.

Maths – Statistics

In Maths, students are learning to ask and improve statistical questions, collect useful data through surveys and observations, and analyse their findings to identify patterns and trends. They are developing their understanding of how to ask clear statistical questions and determine what data needs to be collected to answer them.

📚 Book Week

Last week, our Grade 5/6 students enjoyed celebrating Book Week! Students took part in a range of activities celebrating their favourite books, authors and characters. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and sharing their love of reading.
