Twisted Science Excursion

Year 2 had so much fun at TwistED Science! 

My favourite part was seeing the interesting animals they had there. We got to participate in some cool activities on the exhibit floor. 

For one activity air pushed balls through different tubes and up into a bucket. That was my favourite one.

My favourite part of the workshop was when we did an experiment with ping pong balls and tuning forks. We hit the tuning fork on the table and then held it up to the ball. The vibrations helped shake the ball.   

It’s interesting that white is actually all the rainbow colours mixed together, and that human eyesight can’t see it without light.

It’s interesting that when you put water on a string that’s attached to a cup, it makes a sound and is amplified.

My favourite part was playing with the blue blocks and making a house.
