Choir & Rockband Showcase

What an incredible afternoon of music at EPS!

Congratulations to all our performers who took part in the 2026 Choir & Rock Band Showcase. A huge well done to our EPS Choir, Year 5 Rock Band, Year 6 Rock Band, Bladen Rock and Deep Blue ensembles for delivering such outstanding performances. Each group showcased the students’ hard work, dedication and musical development and it was wonderful to see so many students confidently sharing their talents with the EPS community.

A special thank you must go to our 2026 Performing Arts Captains - Harriet H, Jedd O, Tiala U and Seb D. They did a fantastic job hosting the showcase whilst not only participating in the performances but also supporting the event behind the scenes. I’d also like to acknowledge Stanley T for being his work throughout the term as our Year 6 Rock Band Leader. 

Thank you also to all the parents, carers and family members who attended. Your support and encouragement provide a fantastic performance opportunity for our young musicians that again celebrates their effort and achievements.

The continued growth of our lunchtime music programs is something I am incredibly proud of here at EPS. With record participation numbers across our Choir and Rock Band programs once again in 2026, the showcase was a wonderful celebration of the musicianship, commitment and effort demonstrated by our students throughout the year.

Congratulations again to all performers and thank you to everyone who helped make the 2026 Choir & Rock Band Showcase such a memorable event! 

The performances don't stop here at EPS! I look forward to our next major event, the bi-annual P-6 End of Year Concert, which is tentatively scheduled for Monday 14th December 4.00-6.30pm. It promises to be another wonderful celebration!

Australian Girls Choir Workshop – 14 October 2026

Elsternwick Primary School is excited to welcome the Australian Girls Choir (AGC) back to our school for an Audition Workshop on Wednesday 14 October 2026 at 2:00pm in the Performing Arts Room.

The workshop provides the opportunity to participate in a range of simple singing and movement activities in a fun and supportive group environment. There is no preparation required and students of all musical backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to take part.

Following the workshop, families will receive a personalised report along with information about the Australian Girls Choir program and what opportunities could be available in 2027.

The Australian Girls Choir has inspired thousands of young singers across Australia through high-quality music education and exciting performance opportunities. The AGC is a great opportunity for passionate singers to  develop confidence, resilience, self-esteem and a lifelong love of music.
