Archie brings brilliant enthusiasm and effort to every lesson, always earning wonderful feedback from tutors and classroom helpers. He asks thoughtful questions, listens carefully, and is never afraid to have a go at something tricky. Archie sets goals for himself and achieves them, practicing his High Frequency Words at home to keep improving.

1A - Amelia O

Amelia is to be commended for her hard work and positive attitude towards Mathematics this year. She is always willing to take on a challenge, confidently working both independently and collaboratively with her peers to solve problems. Amelia has been developing her understanding of open number lines and has demonstrated confidence when using strategies such as building to the next ten and hundred.

Personal Excellence OR Responsibility

1C - Billy R 

Billy has shown fantastic personal growth this year, and he should be incredibly proud of everything he's achieved. He's built the confidence to present in front of large audiences, he works well in teams with his peers, and communicates his needs with trusted adults. Along the way, he's developed problem-solving strategies that help him thrive in the classroom. He readily takes on feedback, using it to extend his writing, book choices, and math's work. Well done Billy!

Curiosity 

1B - Jack B

Jack is a curious learner who listens attentively and loves sharing his thinking during class discussions. He is often the first to put his hand up, eager to make a connection to a spelling pattern or sound we have investigated in class, or to share his noticings about our word of the day. He does all of this with a big smile on his face, showing his genuine enthusiasm for learning. Well done, Jack!

For approaching our Global Studies focus on Economics and Business, along with Wellbeing lessons on the human body, with an inquisitive mind and contributing meaningfully in class discussions. 6B - Ioanna A

For demonstrating Curiosity during our Wellbeing lessons, Ioanna confidently asks thoughtful and clarifying questions that help deepen her understanding. She is not afraid to ask “why” and approaches discussions with an open mind and a genuine desire to understand different perspectives. Ioanna thoughtfully challenges ideas she may disagree with while listening respectfully to the views of others. Well done, Ioanna.

For consistently demonstrating the behaviors of an aspiring author. I always look forward to reading this person's creative writing pieces. This person has shown an incredible work ethic through the time and effort they have put into their maths. They created a brilliant poster outlining all the features of a square based pyramid.
