Musical

Dear Parents,

We are currently preparing for our upcoming School Musical, Seussical, and we’re in need of large cardboard pieces to help us build props and set decorations.

If you happen to have any large cardboard boxes — such as those from fridges, TVs, washing machines, or other big appliances—we would be so grateful for your donation! These boxes are perfect for creating sturdy, creative backdrops and stage elements.

If you have something to contribute, please bring it to the school office or contact performingarts@lakeside.vic.edu.au to arrange drop-off.

Rehearsals

All rehearsals are held on Thursday afternoons from 3.15-5pm for the whole cast, and some main characters and/or dancers may be needed on Friday. 

Main Characters will be made aware the Thursday prior if they are required for Friday's session.

The schedule has been uploaded to the performing arts google classroom and can be accessed with each student's login. 

All rehearsals are held in the middle school building or the senior music classrooms. 

After rehearsals, students will be escorted out the front of the school and will be allowed to leave from here if we have parent permission, and otherwise will be supervised until a parent collects them. 

Please email the performing arts email if you have concerns or your child can no longer make a rehearsal.

All other cast members are either Jungle Citizens or Who Citizens and are involved in lots of songs and dances.
