Reunion Updates

Guests at the 20 Year Reunion in 2025

20-and 25-Year Reunion

There were many smiling faces as the Classes of 2005 and 2000 came together for their 20- and 25-Year Reunion earlier in the year. Alumni caught up with old friends, shared stories of life since Kilvington and reminisced about the old days at school.

It was wonderful to have past teachers Ann Cleghorn and Ann Dillon join in the celebrations, along with current teacher Helen Cole. Reconnecting students with teachers is always so special and we are very grateful for their attendance.

50-Year Reunion

We were delighted to have a great turn out to the 50 Year Reunion for the Class of 1974. Principal Mr Rob French and Alumni Committee member, Ms Ellie Pietsch (Class of 1999) hosted a delicious sit-down three-course dinner in the Staff Lounge followed by a tour of The HIVE – our new science and technology centre.

This was an extra special part of the evening where guests enjoyed the Professor Jayashri Kulkarni AM Science Centre on Level 1, named after former Chair of the Kilvington Board and Class of 1974 class member who was in attendance. We look forward to welcoming this cohort to the Walsh Club in 2026.

One Year Reunion

The VCE Study Centre (or Treehouse as it is affectionately known) was buzzing with chatter and smiles as the Class of 2024 gathered for their One Year Reunion in Term 3. Past students delighted in the opportunity to catch up with each other and their former teaches, sharing news and reminiscing about their time at school. A big thank you to all those who attended.

30-and 35-Year Reunion

Past students from the Classes of 1995 and 1990 joined together for a memorable evening in late August, reminisced about school days and reflected on the journeys that have taken them far and wide since graduating.

Walsh Club Luncheon

The Walsh Club is a special group made up of Kilvonians who left the school 50 or more years ago, and on Friday 10 October members joined together for the second luncheon of the year.

Guests were warmly welcomed by representatives from the Junior School and enjoyed presentations from four inspiring students who spoke about their involvement in the veski Girls in STEM Mentoring Program. Several Alumni also took the opportunity to write a small note of encouragement to our Year 12 students as they approached the VCE exam period.

As ever, it was a wonderful afternoon of connection, conversation and community, and we look forward to the next gathering in March 2026.

5-and 10-Year Reunion

It was a small and intimate gathering for the Classes of 2020 and 2015 as they celebrated their 5&10 Year milestones at the Sky Bar at Hotel Brighton. There were a lot of laughs as Alumni pored over yearbooks and were reminded of their days Kilvington.
