The beginning of Term 3 has been a fun and busy time of the year.

PREMIERS READING CHALLENGE

The College has participated in the Premier’s Reading Challenge for the first time in a while, with a total number of 26 students who exceeded their reading totals. Well done to those students. The Resource Centre will host a celebration in the coming weeks.

JOURNEY BOOKCLUB

Students who are participating in the Journey Book club are currently reading “Hotel Magnifique” by Emily J Taylor.

BOOK WEEK  2024

Last week we celebrated Book Week with a number of activities and competitions. Students had a fun day taking part in guessing competitions, blackout poetry and homegroup trivia. 

Students and staff dressed up as their favourite book character, with winners for best costume decided by Mr Ellis. Thank you to all students and staff who participated in our celebration this week.

Book week Trivia was won by Carroll 7, who will be celebrating with a hot chip lunch.

Guess the book in the jar competition was won by Sophie Lamb.
