Science

As we draw closer to the end of Week 6, students in Year 7-10 have commenced new their study topics.

Year 7 students have completed their first Practical Assessment for this term. This is 50% of their assessment for the semester and precedes their first Science Exam Term 4. Their next topic of focus is Cells and Classification.

Year 8 students have also completed their first Practical Assessment for the semester. This is also 50% of their assessment. In their next topic they will be looking at Cells and Microbes.

Year 9 are about to start their Practical Assessment. Their next topic will be Earth Science.

Year 10 completed their final practical assessment for the year in week 4. I congratulate them on some outstanding results for this task. They are in the process of starting their last topic for the term on Evolution.

We wish our Year 11 students all the best as they prepare for their final exams. Our Year 12 students are also working well in their preparations for their HSC exams. We wish them well in their final weeks of school.
