MDCC RVR MINI GOLF CHALLENGE

Year 8 students are teeing off in the MDCC RVR Mini Golfing Tournament! After experiencing workshops on Canva, robotics, coding, Adobe Illustrator, and 3D printing, students will endeavour to work in teams of approximately three.

Each team member will specialise in marketing, coding, or engineering, further developing their expertise through targeted workshops. In Week 4, Term 4, they will showcase their mini golfing experiences for a diverse audience.

To document their journey and reflect on their growth, students will maintain individual portfolios. These will not only contribute to their team's success but also serve as valuable evidence for their formative assessments.

NATIONAL SCIENCE WEEK

Thank you to the students and staff who got involved in National Science Week! There were many opportunities for students such as:

  • Creating a Science Fact Competition
  • Create the Ultimate Species in the Minecraft Competition
  • Involvement in the Snowy Hydro Project.

STEAM 456 classes also participated in the Sydney Marathon Sustainability Challenge.
