Illustration Workshop with Mirranda Burton

Monday, 23 June, saw a group of excited DRC students and a number of staff participate in an Illustration Workshop with acclaimed artist, writer and graphic novel author/illustrator, Mirranda Burton.

Mirranda discussed the different processes of her work, timeframes and clues to look for when reading graphic novels. Her presentation was engaging and the students were completely connected to the experience.

Following her presentation, the students then participated in an illustration workshop and came up with some great pieces of work. We have some extremely talented students in our midst!
