Basketball Victorian Secondary Schools Challenge State Finals 

 

Congratulations to our Year 8 Girls Basketball Team on reaching the Grand Final of the Victorian Secondary Schools Challenge State Finals.Although they finished the day as runners-up, we are incredibly proud of their outstanding efforts. This is a remarkable achievement as the result places the girls in the top two schools in the State! Well done to everyone involved! 

 

Monicans in the Spotlight

 

Congratulations to the following students who represented St Monica's College, Epping at the Victorian All Schools Cross Country Championships at Bundoora Park. A special mention to Ela Uzun who finished the race in a remarkable 8th place which qualifies her to compete at the Australian Cross Country Championships later in the year.

Water Polo U15 East Coast Challenge 

 

Congratulations to Archie Cooper of Year 9 who represented Victoria at the Water Polo U15 East Coast Challenge. Archie played a vital role in his team as the Goal Keeper.Archie and his team claimed Bronze with a victory against Queensland in a thrilling match that finished 10-9. Well done Archie on this wonderful achievement!

 

Emerging Matildas and Emerging Socceroos Championships

 

Congratulations to the following students who represented Victoria in their respective age groups at the Emerging Matildas and Emerging Socceroos Championships over the school holidays.

The students were Jessica Aquilina (missed through injury), Emilia Colosimo, Kiara Calafiore, Olivia Nicolazzo, Aidan Adams, Will Kengni and Luca Thomas.

 

A special mention to Olivia Nicolazzo and her Victorian Under 16 Blue team after a 1-0 victory over NSW Sky in the Grand Final and being crowned 2025 Under 16 National Champions. The goal in the Grand Final was the only goal that NSW Sky had conceded all tournament.
