NFA Excursion

One of the key highlights in the final week of Term 2 for the Year 10 NFA program that took place on Wednesday, 2 July, was when Mr Singh and Mr Finanzio had the pleasure of accompanying our students to Easey’s for a guest speaker session with Adrian Parisi. The session proved to be both engaging and insightful for staff and students alike.

We were fortunate to meet the owners of Easey’s, who generously shared their personal journey from their high school days through to the creation of their successful business. Their story highlighted the value of following your passion, embracing career changes and the importance of adaptability, communication, networking and being resilient.

The best part was after the presentation we had the opportunity to enjoy lunch all together in the train. Jimmy, one of the owners, went above and beyond by sitting with the students, answering their questions and sharing further stories from his experience in the hospitality and business world.

It was a great experience that provided our NFA students with real-world insights into what it takes to be successful in business and life. We are grateful for Adrian and the owners of Easey’s for making this opportunity possible.
