Team Strengths Day

Crazy hats, tutus, colourful socks, gloves and scarves will be the order of the day on Thursday 12 June as students get involved with Team Strengths Day – earning points for their House by wearing either red for Briggs, green for Hall, yellow for McLachlan or the much easier blue for Darlot.  Points for each item of colour will be tallied in Home Room.

Demonstrating the Horsham College values of Care, Character Commitment and Collaboration, students will celebrate making it to mid-term by having lots of fun getting involved in competitive games and activities at recess and lunch.  Any students not on their House team for Tug-of-war, Tunnel Ball, Musical Chairs or the Laundry Basket Relay, will need their strength to cheer on their colours.

Roving umpires on the day will dish out additional House points for any behaviour they feel demonstrates our school values, with the very distinguished Mr. Rigas officiating proceedings.  This is a terrific opportunity for everyone to turn their school hat inside out and show their allegiance to their House by cheering on the challengers.
