Excellence Recognised at the Energy Exhibition

Our gents did us proud by exhibiting their artwork in the prestigious Energy Exhibition which was held during the school holidays.

We congratulate five of our entrants, who received awards. Zachary Nicholls received a Cairns Art Gallery Excellence Award and an Excellence Award from Creative Generations. Zach’s work is one of only 40 artworks across Queensland that have been selected to be a part of the central exhibition, to be displayed at the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) in Brisbane in 2026. These artworks raise community awareness about the degree of sophistication in concepts, diversity of technical competence and the high standard of visual art education in Queensland secondary schools.
