First Day in the Kitchen

For some Year 7 students it was their first day in the kitchen. The boys have been learning about paddock to plate  and recently put their skills to the test by cooking delicious pancakes – and even doing the washing up. 

Hands-on Learning at iLasercut Workshop

As part of the Industrial Graphics Skills course, students study computer-aided manufacturing drafting. The assessments for this unit include 3D printing, laser cutting and etching. The Year 12 students were very fortunate to visit the iLasercut workshop in Woree and see an industrial laser cutter in action. Mr Oberleuter demonstrated the laser cutter, and Mr O’Halloran explained the drafting side of the process. The boys were highly engaged and saw computer-aided manufacturing in action.
