Scholarships
Review of Scholarship Program Announcement:
We are pleased to announce an update to our St John's Regional College scholarship program. Starting in 2025, we will award 20 General Excellence Scholarships to incoming Year 7 students. This new initiative aims to recognise and support our future students' diverse talents and achievements from the beginning of their educational journey with us through to completion.
Scholarships for Current Students:
As we transition to this new scholarship program, we will continue to offer General Excellence Scholarships to students currently in Year 7, Year 8, and Year 10 at the College. These scholarships are designed to acknowledge our existing students' hard work and dedication and provide additional opportunities for their continued growth and success. Each scholarship will cover 50% of the student's tuition fees for their entire academic tenure at St John's Regional College, subject to the student maintaining their academic results.
Application Details and Criteria:
Applications for St John's Regional College Scholarships for General Excellence will open in the first week of Term 3. General Excellence Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria:
- Academic Achievement
- Community Involvement
- Extra-Curricular Involvement
Scholarships are open to students in:

- Year 8 (2024) transitioning into Year 9 (2025)
- Year 10 (2024) transitioning into Year 11 (2025)
All applicants must complete the scholarship application along with a reference from a teacher. Two scholarships per year level will be awarded, covering 50% of tuition fees for the remainder of the student's studies at St John's Regional College.
