Amazing 5/6

Term 4 - Week 8
A message from the teachers
As we approach the end of Term 4, the excitement is certainly building across the Year 5/6 cohort! With major events, celebrations, and final adventures on the horizon, our students are gearing up for a memorable finish to the school year.
We are looking forward to celebrating our Year 6 students as they prepare to graduate and take their next big step into secondary school. The ceremony is on Monday the 15th of December. Families will soon receive final details about the ceremony, so please keep an eye out. We cannot wait to acknowledge our students’ achievements and share this special milestone together. Any parents who can spare some time on Monday between 10-12 to help set up, could you please email Mr D and volunteer. It is going to be such a great night.
Our much-anticipated Big Ride Out is almost here! Students have been busy preparing, and we’re excited for a fun and active day riding to the beautiful Black Rock. This will be on Friday the 12th of December. Please ensure bikes are checked and helmets are fitted correctly.
To celebrate the end of primary school, our Year 6 students will be heading off to the Melbourne Cable Park for their Big Day Out! It’s always a highlight of the year and a wonderful chance for students to relax, have fun, and enjoy time with friends before Graduation. This is on Tuesday, December 16th with the permission form on Compass.
Finally, we all want to extend a huge congratulations to our Girls Softball Team, who placed 4th at the State Championships! This is a remarkable achievement and a reflection of their dedication, teamwork, and resilience. Well done, girls—we are incredibly proud of you!
