Did You Know..
AusAlert
The ICT Team would like to inform you about the upcoming National Test of AusAlert, which will take place early next term. This test will be sent to all mobile phones, as well as some smart watches and tablets.
AusAlert is a new system being introduced by the government to help keep communities informed and prepared in the event of an emergency.
We expect that the government will provide broader public information and advertising in the lead-up to the test. However, as many students bring personal devices to school, we want to ensure they feel comfortable and prepared for the alert sound when it occurs.
Staff will support students on the day to help minimise any concern or disruption.
Please note that the alert sound can only be silenced by turning off the device.
