NAPLAN Update

NAPLAN took place from Wednesday 11 March through to Monday 23 March, with all Year 7 and Year 9 students completing the writing, reading, conventions of language and numeracy assessments across the testing window.

Despite a small technology hiccup with the Year 7 cohort on the first morning, everything quickly settled and the remainder of the program ran smoothly. Our Year 7 students were absolutely marvellous throughout - showing patience, resilience and a genuinely positive attitude. They should be very proud of themselves.

Our Year 9 students also did extremely well, approaching each test with maturity and focus. Staff were impressed with the way they engaged across all sessions.

Teachers will now wait for the official NAPLAN results. Once they’re released, we’ll use the information to identify strengths, pinpoint areas for growth and plan how best to support learning moving forward.
