Reservoir Bounce Hits the Right Note for Our School Community
Reservoir Bounce was a fantastic celebration of music, talent and community spirit, bringing together students, alumni, staff and families for an unforgettable afternoon of live performances. Held at Shotkickers, the event showcased the incredible musical abilities within our school community and provided students with the exciting opportunity to perform on a real stage in a professional venue.
The performances from both students and alumni were outstanding, with the audience treated to a wide variety of music throughout the day. One of the highlights was an unexpected collaboration between Danny and Archie, which quickly became a crowd favourite and perfectly captured the fun and spontaneous spirit of the event.
The support from the community was remarkable. In total, 86 tickets were pre-sold and a further 14 were purchased at the door, bringing attendance to over 100 people. Thanks to this strong turnout, the event raised approximately $1,345 for the Performing Arts Centre (PAC) after venue and booking costs were covered.
Beyond the fundraising success, the event was a wonderful opportunity for our young musicians to experience performing in a professional setting. They rose to the occasion, delivering confident and polished performances that reflected the hard work and preparation that went into the day.
Reservoir Bounce was a true community effort, and it was incredibly rewarding to see so many people come together to support our students and celebrate live music. With such a positive response, we are already hopeful that Reservoir Bounce will return in 2027 for another fantastic afternoon of music and connection. 🎶
