YR 7

100 Days celebration

Today we celebrated 100 days of high school for the Year 7 Students. They gathered in the lecture Theatre for a powerpoint presentation, looking at photos from the Academy 100 years ago (there was much laughter, especially when thought about what the girls would have worn to play PE), we then moved into photos of their time at the Academy, from joining us when they were in year 6 for Orientation, to their first day of Year 7, camp and some images of them learning in class and hanging out with their Big Sisters. 

The Year 7s were then given the task of planning and designing a poster about what they think the Academy will look like in 100 years’ time. They will be working on this over the next few weeks and we are excited to see what they think the future will hold. To finish off the Year 7s were treated to a delicious cupcake.
