Division Athletics 

On Friday 6 September, 20 of our student athletes competed at the Maribyrnong Division Athletics Carnival. Unfortunately due to a clash with venue bookings, we had a modified program with only three schools attending and an additional carnival was held on Friday 13 September for the other schools.

Students represented our school with pride and we had lots of great results on the day. I would like to congratulate Jaskirat, Maiah, Wesal, Cristvie, and the boys 4x100m relay team for all coming first in their events on the day.

Some results from the combined carnivals are as follows:

• Boys 4x100m relay team - came 2nd overall (1st place was 55.81 and our time 55.85)
• Cristvie - came 1st overall for Boys 12/13 Discus (won by 2m) and Long Jump (won by 40cm).

Well done to Cristvie who has progressed through to Regionals on Wednesday 9 October and we wish him all the best.
